Pop-Up at St. Basil-the-Great College School
We had an opportunity to engage local youths at St. Basil-the-Great College School on June 12th, 2019. Hosted by the City of Toronto Parks, Forestry & Recreation Division and Children’s Services, the pop-up style session connected with over 300+ youths, who provided valuable input through their participation in completing a series of questions on the presentation boards provided and by filling out the survey that will help to generate a set of key drivers in support of youth participation in the new community centre. Over 300+ buttons and lollipops were distributed in an effort to connect youth with future local programming.
We are currently consolidating feedback from all of the community engagement sessions and will be providing a summary report of our findings in Open House #2 (Digital Open House). For more information on what was presented, see the .PDF document attached.
Open House #2 is planned for Fall 2019, and we will be hosting ‘Pop-up’ sessions throughout the summer for additional input opportunities. See the ‘Get Involved’ tab above to find out more, or subscribe for E-updates through the City’s website to receive ongoing project updates and notifications about upcoming meetings and events.
